I am seeking volunteers for the annual planting of cherry trees in Boulder. The annual planting of cherry trees in Boulder is a cultural exchange organized by Boulder’s Japanese community. In this event, cherry trees will be provided by the Japanese community and the trees will be planted with the help of volunteers and the city of Boulder.
The city of Boulder will dig the holes for the trees and volunteers will place the trees and fill the holes with soil mulch.
This is a fun event that benefits the community and in which you will have the opportunity to meet and work with members of the Japanese community and other volunteers. A lunch will be provided by Sushi Zanmai.
Date: Saturday, May 2nd
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Location: Carpenter Park (south west corner of Arapahoe and 30th)
