I LOVE MY LIBRARY – ESSAY CONTEST!

Let us know why you love your library in 500 words or less and winners in 5 age categories (young child, youth, teen, adult, senior) will win a prize and the opportunity to participate in a unique library event! Children age 6 and under may draw a picture. So start sending those essays to: I Love My Library – Main Library, 201 Peterson, Fort Collins, CO 80524. Make sure you add your name, address, phone number and age. Deadline is February 21st.

1 Sun, 3:00 PM, Main – “Animal Afternoon”

School-age children can enjoy reading aloud to an animal — friendly, certified therapy animals and good books will be on hand with volunteers from Larimer Animal People Partnership (LAPP).

2 Mon, 6:30 PM, Main – “Sleepyhead Storytime”

This 30-minute interactive program will feature stories, songs, fingerplays, and family fun. It is designed for children ages 3 through the early elementary grades with a parent or other caregiver. No registration is required. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas. Bring a friend and join the fun!
